Coda completed its 16th annual Sydney Festival in 2012. Starting with Festival First Night on the 7th of January, the program line-up included approximately 300 performances and 1000 artists performing in over 20 venues.

Coda also provided sound for all three main stages at the WOMADelaide Festival. This years event, the 15th for Coda, was held from the 9th to the 12th of March.

It's been a varied year for Coda with more theatre and corporate work, a visit to InfoComm and an expanding array of new hire stock, including a CL5 from Yamaha's new range of Digital Mixing Consoles. For more information, visit our Yamaha Digital resource page.

Coda Audio was proud to supply the sound system, overseen by our engineer Des O'Neill, for the 12 Australian performances of Dolly Parton's Better Day world tour, starting in July in Knoxville Tennessee and finishing up in December 2011 after an amazing 50 performances across the globe.

For Coda, working with different artists is always a pleasure, but in this instance it also gave us a chance to test our new Meyer Sound MJF-212A high-power stage monitors in a variety of venues across Australia. CX Magazine has has kindly provided an extract of their February CX-67 article on the tour here (3.37MB).
